Why Global Cooling is our new Climate Change Reality – and not Global Warming!
Let’s start with a promise: Soon the media will speak mostly about Global Cooling, and you will hear less and less about Global Warming.
Right now the “official” belief is that we are in a phase of man-made (burning fossil fuels) Global Warming.
This is what you hear in the media everyday, this is supported by the UN’s panel on climate change (IPCC – Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), this is also supported by the US government (for example by NOAA – National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and about every other big institution I know of.
Btw.: In 2007 the IPCC even was honored with the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for its theory and work. But this “official” belief draws more and more opposition.
There are more and more “rogue” scientists coming out of the woods, claiming that the assumption of global warming caused by man is actually … false (Definition for Global Warming).
Why I believe that the “Global Warming” hysteria has had its Advantages
I for a long time believed in Global Warming myself, and still believe maintaining this myth is good for grander purposes like changing to clean and free energy.

Interview Facts about Global Warming Fraud
Think about it. We use energy storages which needed millions or billions of years to fill up and consume them completely in – what – 150 years? In only a tiny temporal fraction of what it took to build up? The people in Neanderthal already used this method, and last time I checked they were extinct. Their technology didn’t make them last.
No, the way we produce energy until today cannot last, no matter if CO2 causes climate change or not (and the price for – say – Uranium has risen 1300 % between 2003 and 2007 [Source in German: German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology]).
And what about you and me?: You/we should be happy that we as World Citizens start to switch now (you are on a website about switching to renewable energy, are you not?), because the fossil energy prices will skyrocket soon, non-dependent on Global Warming or not.
Attention: All this will mean that more energy will be needed. This will lead to a higher strain on your utility and power lines. This will lead to more extended blackouts. Prepare yourself with a Power Generator!
Simply because we will consume more and more fossil fuels and they will become even more and more scarce. And with a Global Cooling, they will even rise much, much faster (colder weather = more heating= higher energy demand = higher prices). So switching now will save you/us a lot of money in the future.
So even if science is wrong on this, I am not unhappy that now we have a broad switch to better and soon much cheaper energy sources. And ironically all fossil fuels once were produced by solar energy (oil is essentially rotten wood, and wood is fed by sunlight).
So this “debate” forced us to look for alternatives…And why not take out the middleman (read “trees”) and directly use the power from the sun for us? And here we are…with the most promising Alternative Energy source being Solar Energy. One of our greatest inventors, Thomas Alva Edison, has seen this coming many decades ago.
So, what about the Climate changing?
Actually, nobody is doubting that the climate is a constant state of shift, with warmer periods and cooler periods. (Definition of Climate Change)
What is new about “Global Warming” is the idea that it is caused by man made (released) CO2 gas (which is a byproduct of every burning process we use).
And it seems convincing, with the graphs of CO2 in the atmosphere and the median earth temperature rising in seeming dependence or causality.
Actually, until the 1970s the earth got cooler and scientists were already speaking of a “Global Cooling”
In the 1970s there was increasing awareness that estimates of global temperatures showed cooling since 1945 Wikipedia
Then that trend turned around and we got a “Global Warming” trend.
And then the idea of a man-made global warming came up.
But again, the climate was never stable over some decades. For example: There exists a historical theory that the French Revolution of 1789 was actually started by the then active global cooling, which made people starve (and not so much by the wish for freedom – talk about nature making world history).
Around that time people could ice-skate on the Thames in London in mid-June (if that was invented then, I have no idea). That period is called “small ice age”.
The Little Ice Age, which occurred after an era known in scientific circles as the Medieval Warm Period, is typically defined as a period of about 200 years, beginning around 1650 and extending through 1850. ©WorldnetDaily.com (2010)
So, I hope you can agree with the idea that the climate is always changing.
What if we are at the end of a natural (or perhaps man-supported) Global Warming period with an immanent Global Cooling phase coming up in the next decades?
And what about the talk of Global Cooling?
I told you that more and more scientist came out of the woods and claim that Global Warming has stopped.
That it actually was all part of a natural Climate Change process.
What goes up, must come down.
And these rogue scientist, while still being attacked ferociously, gain more and more credence.
Until man duplicates a blade of grass, nature can laugh at his so-called scientific knowledge…. Thomas Edison
Sun Activity drives our Climate
There is one theory that the sun’s activity (the sun goes through phases/changes, too) is causing our climate changes.
For example Mr. Habibullo Abdussamatov, who heads the space research in an Observatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, is convinced that this theory explains all climate change, including the warming period until now.
…long-term variations in the amount of solar energy reaching the Earth are the main and principal reasons driving and defining the whole mechanism of climatic changes from the global Warmings to the Little Ice Ages to the big glacial periods
He claims that the earth has reached the warmest phase in 1998-2005 and since then is cooling down…
…with the real Global Cooling to begin in 2014.
He also predicts that the sun’s activity will reach a new low in 2042, which he explains would mean that in the 2050s earth would have its coldest phase.
Abdussamatov is convinced that over the decades the climate changes have proven his theory:
My predictions are looking better and better with each passing year ©WorldnetDaily.com
His thesis was even included 2009 in a US Senate Committee paper featuring 700 scientists opposing the IPCC’s view on our warming climate future.
I personally am not sure if Global Warming would not be the easier future for us.
Global Cooling: Earth’s Water Cycle
Another theory says that Earth has a water cycle, which makes the climate shift from warming to cooling and vice versa in cycles.
Perhaps you are familiar with Chaos Theory’s famous example that everything is so much connected that a butterfly in South America can cause a Hurricane in the US (see Edward Lorenz, a MIT professor for Meteorology (science of the weather) is the father of “Chaos Theory and the “butterfly effect”).
Predictability: Does the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil Set Off a Tornado in Texas? Edward Lorenz’s Academic Paper title 1972
By the way: With this paper, Professor for Meterology Lorenz single handedly
…overthrew the idea of the clockwork universe with his ground-breaking research on chaos MIT
Today the meteorology researcher Dr. Anastasios Tsonis of the University of Wisconsin has put a mathematical model for “synchronized chaos” on the recent climate history and were able to predict the shifts.
Imagine that you have four synchronized swimmers and they are not holding hands and they do their program and everything is fine; now, if they begin to hold hands and hold hands tightly, most likely a slight error will destroy the synchronization. Well, we applied the same analogy to climate
So the earth’s systems like oceans and air are synchronous or not, and by that turn the system around.
Climate Change Conclusions
There are a lot of competing theories about our climate. These are the ones I personally find the most convincing (but honestly I haven’t studied them all, not even most.
I hope you now understand why I personally believe in Global Cooling.
I am convinced that we do not face Global Warming.
But is that a reason to relax and lay back?
To build the next coal plant?
Think about, what happens when earth cools down?
We will need more energy to heat our homes, build greenhouses to grow food, defreeze streets, airplanes, cars …
Our energy demand will rise dramatically.
And even if we would not run out of fossil fuels (Peak Oil), the rising demand would still make energy prices explode.
A Growing population, with a fast rising living standard meets the rising energy demands for a cooling earth.
A recipe for disaster. The perfect storm!
Years ago, I read the editorial of an Investment magazine. The author argued that the world economy was (especially) booming since the 1980s because of a very warm climate period.
Think about it. If you need less energy to heat ie. your production plant, the products are cheaper for the consumer.
If you need less money as a consumer because food is comparably cheap (warmer weather makes for a better harvest) to feed yourself and family, you have more money to buy other products…by that “feeding” the economy.
And that means more wealth as a society.
The future will be much more dire, I am afraid.
Because if we as a civilization have to spent more resources on just staying alive and growing food, we are in trouble. If we need all our money to buy (directly or indirectly) energy, who will buy the next ipad?
And that’s exactly why a Global Cooling means you have to get off the grid now. Before the prices explode.
Alternative Energy, especially Solar Energy (and Geothermal Energy) are the solution to get through the coming freezing period without loosing our wealth.
Individually and as a society.
What do you think?
Do you agree? Are you still convinced that we have to do everything we can to prevent a coming Global Warming?
